Jake is a Golden Retriever and Addie is a Lab mix. I think she has pit in her, but she was a stray so I'm not sure. When I adopted Addie from a shelter, I was told she was lab and sharpei. The sharpei would account for her half black tongue. I think they intentionally left out the pit bull background, so she would be adopted. Whatever she is, she's so sweet! Jake is, too!
