Boy, what some Pet Talkers won't do to track other Pet Talkers down.
I called Laurie's home and spoke to her DIL to see if Laurie had a cell phone. Anyway about 10 min ago, my phone rings and it's Laurie.
It seems that she was headed back to the hospital but made a wrong turn and when she saw a sign pointing her to New York, she knew something was very wrong.
Anyway, she turned around and went back to the hotel where she and her co-pilot have just finished a wonderful dinner and now she's headed for bed.
She is going to see Phred again tomorrow morning before heading back home. She has some stories to tell so will let her post them tomorrow night or Monday.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!
