I live near there, but not IN Baltimore itself. As for if it's a nice place to visit - I guess so, but it depends on what you're here for and where you're staying. I'd definitely stay downtown, near the Inner Harbor if I were you and you wanted something to do after work. Otherwise, you're going to be pretty darn bored. If you stay downtown, you could check out Harbor Place, the Science Center (eh), the National Aquarium (really cool), Power Plant Live (cluster of bars), or Fells Point and Federal Hill (the "cool" night spots). If you're visiting in April or after, check out an Orioles game.
