1/12 Update
Kevin just got off the phone with the vet and Spike is doing substantially better. His blood work is still not in the normal range, but much better. He's peeing on his own and will get to come home this afternoon! We will of course have to monitor him and administer antibiotics (which he is the worst cat we have for pilling). I think we've decided to go with liquid form. Then next week he goes back in for more blood work. Spike thanks you all for your well wishes, concerns, and thoughts (and we do to). Now lets just hope this doesn't reoccur!
