    Oh dear, seems like there is alot of this urinary trouble going on around here. I'm so sorry, and I hope that Spike gets all better soon!

    The vet called again last night and said Spike's kidney levels are not coming down like they should be. He said he isn't giving us a grave diagnoses, but he's pretty concerned about the levels. They will see how he's doing today and get back to us. I thought we'd have him home by now.
    Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

    1/11 - A.M. Update
    Spike is getting a little better, but not to the satisfaction to release him home. They will run more blood work today and see how the levels look. Gosh this all happened so fast. One day Spike appeared just fine, and the next day he's in the hospital. I will try and visit with the camera this afternoon. Thanks everyone!

    K&L, all hands and paws at the Campbell House are in fervent prayer for your dear Spike!! Ralph Syracuse recalls your prayers and wants you to know that since he is feeling better, he is sending healing to Spike!!! Thanks for keeping us posted!!!
