I Think Almost Every Toy Breed Is Expensive.
    I Saw A 5000 Dll Rottweiller Once.
English Bulldogs Are Expensive Too, Around 4000.

If you're talking about the initial price you pay a breeder I honestly don't think there is a most expensive breed, Bulldogs can run pretty high on average but so do many, many other breeds. The price depends on what each individual breeder wants to sell the puppies for. The average price for my 3 favourite breeds (Tollers, Groenendaels & Rotties) is between $1000 & $2500, there are some under and over those prices of course but that's the average. I've also seen breeders who want $4000+ and personally, I think that's absolutely insane.....

If you're talking about vet bills, I'd have to say generally speaking, Great Danes and other similar giant breeds would be the most expensive due to their short life span and health issues that come with these breeds. Small dogs can be really expensive as well because some owners don't brush their teeth often enough and small dogs are known for dental issues which can cost a lot to fix if you let their teeth get to s certain point, the same goes far all sizes of dogs but smaller ones I've found, seem to have the most problems.

Obviously, all of what I've said is just my opinion......

It is a very hard thing to judge but I'd say all around, Neapolitan Mastiffs.
They are expensive to buy because they are hard to breed. (mom and easily squash pups) Around $1500-$3000+
They are expensive to feed because they are massive.
Their vet bills usually run high.

Designer breeds I think they're the most expensive for what you could pay just by going to the local shelter and picking up the SAME MIX

Really?! The ones around here are all about $1000. I want one so much but I know I won't be able to have one until I move out of my parents' house...

Well, let's see, my german shepherd mix Roscoe cost $85.00 from the shelter 9 months ago. We paid another 100 or so that night for food, toys, leash, collar, food & water bowls, etc. Then there was the cost of obedience school, more toys because he destroyed the ones he had, carpet cleaner every time he has peed on the carpet (LOTS of carpet cleaner), the vet bill when he licked his 'thingy' raw , replacing the carpet in the entry room that he ripped up, fence for the yard, replacing the molding on the doorway in the entry room that he tore off, re-painting the door because he thought if he scratched off all the paint I would magically appear...I'd have to say that my dog is the most expensive.

The way he looks at me, with adoring big brown eyes...PRICELESS!

when i was on holiday i saw a newspaper article about designer dogs, which they were talking about oy poodle crosses as beign the coolest dog right now, and a day later guess what i saw in the pet shop? a toy poodle cross puppy no more than my kttens!! seriously cute an dpriced at $1250, which is expensive here. the chihuahuas at the pet shop were $950. thats quite a lot, adn generally in new zealand people get non-pedigree cats, i dont know about doggies, though. genrally quite cheap though.

Finally I got catsters for my beauties!!

I love my precious kittens and I hope they have long and happy lives filled with love.

Cats and dogs arent pets, theyre family members that need the same respect as humans. Would you dump your children out in the countryside to fend for themselves??
