I understand how you feel Kirsten, and I would feel the same. But what Catnapper said is right!

Well, maybe you're right and the kitty just wanted to say hi, but to me it sounded like "I'm out here in the cold, please help me!" (we have temperatures below zero right now). She looked so unhappy!

Could you go back and check on her or is it a very long way? Maybe the owner has gone away and forgotten the poor cat.
Poor little thing out in the cold! How cruel people can be. I hope she's all right.

Poor little kitty! May be the owners let her outside in the morning when they left to go working, and the kitty wass looking for someone to open the door of her house![]()
I awoke in the middle of the night thinking of this poor baby out in the cold.![]()

You could always go back and check on her?? Hopefully she was just making conversation with you and is a well taken care of kitty.
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers
