Handsome Spike! Don't be worrying your purrents like that.
You know, when Rutherford blocked recently, that was when I found out that most blockages are NOT from stones/crystals, but rather mucus plugs (etc.)
So what will you need to do to try to prevent this from happening again? Did they say?
Prayers for a speedy recovery.

Poor Spike.I'm glad that you noticed this as soon as you did. I hope he'll feel better soon and recover quickly. Please continue to keep us updated about him and take care.
Spike was a bad boy at the vet (reason he's named Spike). He pulled his catheter out Saturday night and the vets found him this way Sunday morning. Luckily he did pee on his own during this time. They decided to leave it out to see if he continues to go on his own. Otherwise he's doing much better.![]()
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers
OY! Naughty boy!!! Glad he could pee on his own, though. Maybe he was thinking "HEY! I gotta pee! How am I going to do that with this THING in me??"![]()

Ha! Guess Spike figures he didn't need that anymore and just yanked it right out! Ha! Good going Spike, you had to go potty and that was in your way! I am glad to hear he is doing better and "going" on his own.
