Oh yeah...about 25 years ago we had a cat name "Y"! You should have seen some of the looks I got when I called him to come in. He was named for the perfect letter Y on his chest.![]()

I love some of the names on this thread and may steal one to name the young tom I rescued last year. His name is...Tom. I couldn't come up with anything else when I took him to the vet.
I do have a L.O.S., which I haven't seen before. Perhaps you can guess that it's an acronym for Limb of Satan? It suits her too.
My friend from Iran saw me scoop a feral kitten out of a trap and named her Shahdee, which I think means something like "precious gift" in Farsi. She was a beautifully sleek tabby with kohl rimmed hazel eyes, and the name suited her well.
Seshat was a colour point Siamese, a foster turned own cat when she tested FLV+, and she was named after an Egyptian goddess of libraries and the art of writing.
We had a female polydactyl cat that we named Dali, because she was a tuxedo with a little black spot under her chin that looked like a goatee.![]()
Loving meowmie to Archy & Binky (RIP my sweet boy 10/13/10)
