I'm starting to think Lady is BC and Aussie mix with a little husky sprinkled in,
*Nicole*
there are some husky patterns a bit alike but "Mother" seem to bve more a husky mix, even there are also long haired ones, and "Lady" looks like a husky/shepherd/bc.
piebald pattern
and some wooly coats

so both traits combined could be a pure husky, but it sure looks like a mix, and Lady seems to have more tan markings as in a shepherd mix

I don't think Lady has any shepherd in her.She just has sable coloring
*Nicole*
I don't think Lady would be considered Sable. More like Black w/ tan. lol

all of her black on her coat, is tan at the base, or would that be considered brindle, i get those confused
*Nicole*

I don't think she'd be considered a sable either, sable is more where the browns & blacks kind of slowly blend together throghout the body of the dog, like you would see often in Collies & German Shepherds and the like.
I think Lady is considered just a black & tan dog, *maybe* with a *little* bit of sable mixed in, but because she doesn't have a lot of sable on her body she'd probably be considered a black & tan, or black with tan points, which is the same thing anyways.![]()
