Does your dog(s) get car sick?

when we first got t.j and brought him home he threw up but he was a puppy and now both zoey and t.j are very good in the car, t.j will drewl (SP) if its like a 6 hour ride!

We usually don't take Sassy to far. But we used to take her to my Grandmas nursing home and she was always carsick when we got there.

we have traveled with our dogs on a regular basis since they were puppys and its always to someplace they adore so they all LOVE car rides and certainly dont get car sick. Shadow got car sick once when we had her, that was traveling from her to Kelowna though lol

Astra got carsick the first few times in a car but now all she does is whine. Molly and Prince have never thrown up in the car.

One time, I think it was Shadow's first ever trip to our cabin up north, she threw up all over my sister and her pillow. It was so nasty, we stopped at a rest area and had to try and clean it up, my sister didn't smell too good afterward But that was the only time it has ever happened, thankfully. It has never happened again and all 5 are great in the car!

Nova is the only one who has ever gotten carsick and that seems to only be on long rides. I've taken Nova over to Kay's three times and each time she got sick right before we got to kay's, it's about a 21/2 hour ride. When I take her to our friends' house, which is only 45 minutes away, she's never gotten sick.

longest we drove alotogether, ..3,179 miles for 48 hours in six days.. everybody did great!
