Most of them have a "sports" shooting mode that works great for action shots. My c-5060 has a a "my" setting that I have customized to include the action mode, a little higher sharpness setting and a slightly different white balance setting.Originally Posted by BC_MoM

Taken with my old C-50 (Chum and Paxil racing)
Taken with the c-5060. Deuce and Raven playing(really, they were playing not killing each other!)
With the 800. Pacer was throwing his head around while he wooed. I liked this one as Pacer can be hard to photograph, especially against a white background like snow!
You didn't ask, but this was in portrait mode on the C-5060. My favorite pic ever of Muskwa.
edited to add:
most of the time the only editing I have to do is resizing and occasionally a bit of increased contrast(mostly when I take pics of the solid black critters!)

Wowthose are great photos.I love the portrait mode one,it is beautiful.I need to get me a good camera.Will keep that nmae in mind when searching the market for sure.
