what do you mean by "don´t cut well"?? don´t cut enough hair, none at all, or what??

please dont take me wrong but i guess they are supposed to cut just a bit, not the whole hair (maybe you know this) but maybe you expected something else, perhaps

Yeah I knew that, thats why I want a pair.
But they do not really cut at all. The fur just bends with the sissors, almost like the joint is not tight enough but I tried tightening it & loosening it. And the hair that actually makes it in between the blades is not getting cut enough like the blade is way too dull. They pretty much just crimp the hair.

My friend bought the brand from Petco. It worked fine when I visited her last. She told me it was around 10-15 dollars. I don't know if they only work once or what. But I'd try both brands and see which is better. Good Luck!

Thanks for the info. I think I'll stop by petco & give theirs a try.

I have a crappy brand too. I bought it for Mandy's tail ... her fur is abnormally long and doesn't "flow" with the rest of her so I trim it. I didn't want something expensive because it's not a huge deal as her fur never matted or anything. But, what I found worked was to just cut closer to the joint of the shears. I guess you can do that in the meantime until you get another one, or just live with it like I do

I have a pair from PetEdge, but for the life of me can't remember what kind they are. But I've heard good things about Miller's Forge.
