Jackie, that is what family does! They stick with you when you are down and love you in ways you never knew were possible. I believe that God has taken this terrible incident and is using it for his Glory! He is showing how when we unite in prayer, he is faithful to hear our prayers. Especially the prayers of two dear pups named Cinder and Smoke! He is showing us just how great his Love for us is.

Some people think "It is just a dog". I can't tell you how many times in my life I have heard that. IT IS NOT JUST A DOG! It is a best friend, loyal companion, and a glimpse of what unconditional love is all about! Anyone who has the kind of relationship with their dog that those of us on Pet Talk have, know that it is not JUST a dog!
