why would you think toy and mini poodles are wimpy? some may turn out wimpy- only because their owners baby them. and they don't scream for everything, just trying to make a point.

    Jazz is really cute.

Pam, your two poodles are very pretty. Ripley is so handsome. Molly is to cute! I LOVE that picture. I don't have a poodle though. We were gonna get one at first but We liked Malteses better. I don't like them that much. But they are adorable.

I'm not talking about in general, I'm talking about for grooming. We don't have a single toy or miniature poodle that comes in that doesn't scream for almost everything. Most of the dogs that come in that we have to be extremely careful with while drying are toy and miniature poodles because they are the most likely to have a fit or even a heart attack because they freak out. Almost every old dog fit I've witnessed was a poodle. It's not because their owners baby them, because almost every poodle I've met does it. Maybe it's different elsewhere, but that's how it is where I work.

The hair dryers can be pretty scary lol -- I don't blame dogs for being scared of them. One time I accidentally let go of it and it came back and hit me in the face lol.

My friend has two poodles. I've only really met one, though. He is about nine years old and doesn't have any toes on one of his feet. His mother had ate all of her pups when they were born, but Whiz was saved in time, only having his toes chewed off.

I have a toy poodle mix, Wilbur.

He LOVES the hair dryer, btw...but then, we introduced him to it slowly and he associates it with peanut butter on his nose. He's a sweetie, but he has some serious dog aggression issues, especially with big dogs. Not too bright.

    Thank you Wolf_Q!
