I am quite upset - no, I am very upset! - with you for posting this picture and story on Scooties. Now I am in love with Scooties and I cannot see Scooties; I cannot reach out and touch him, I cannot feel the raspy lick of his little tongue, nor hear his purr nor pull his hat from his head and watch his ears pop out. Having thus fallen, with no hope of requite, I am condemned to mope about in sorrow and longing for the rest of my life.

But wait, there is one bright spot, one ray of hope and humor! Yes, the image of Scooties up on just two legs, perhaps with his two front paws raised menacingly in the air, chasing dogs, will counter all this moroseness and leave me chuckling, not only today but tomorrow and next year and for however many years and decades I might have left.

A cat on two legs, chasing dogs - I do wish you had photographed that!
