One of my best friends has a huge standard poodle and a tiny miniature pincher, and they absolutely love each other. The little dog nibbles on the standard poodle, and the poodle doesn't even care; just nuzzles the mini pincher back playfully. So, as for size being a problem, I don't think it will be at all!!!
