Okay, Christmas shopping done (Sorry, but I borrowed the orc to help with the crowds, he's back at work now)

One God's Blessing (for those of you who aren't Spider Robinson fans, that's an Irish Coffee), and I'll join whoever is on the couch. Anyone mind if I put in the George C Scott Christmas Carol again?

One big AAARRGH to the idiots who think that the highway is a place to drive like they're in NASCAR.........My truck doesn't stop as quickly as your little Hyundai, I hope whoever you are you need to go change your shorts!

Could I just get a 7 up? My tummy is upset. I wonder if life will ever be "normal" again. I'm hoping God has a nice house picked out for me and will help me find it and get there. It will take a miracle to get me and the cats moved. But this is the season of miracles, eh?

Chicken that I am, I'm afraid to get off the Internet because then my phone line will be free for her to call and scream at me some more. My blood pressure and tummy just can't take any more today.

"YOU CHEAP BIATCH, If you had fixed the sewer the electricians would NOT have turned your SCROOGE ARSE in to the city...IF that don't work give me her number.....

IT's all her fault not yours.....the city will condemn the property and she is out of the rent she would get had you stayed.

Believe it or not, she said the sewer gunk in the basement was MY fault!
She's always telling me it's HER house when I would get something fixed so that's what I told her. The plumber's must not have called and gave her the bad news yet because she hasn't called and screamed at me lately. Of course, I am on the Net. Sometimes dial up is a good thing!

MOFF, check into any renter's rights organizations in your town. Sounds to me like finding a new place to live might be a blessing in disguise. Any landlord should be thrilled to have someone like you who pays her rent on time every month and doesn't cause problems. She will realize how good she had it with you once you're gone.

How 'bout some eggnog bartender....which, for some odd reason reminds me....thanks Richard! I opened your card in the car while Terry and I were on our way to a movie, so I had to explain why there was a dollar in it....and also what the picture of the ring was for......thanks.

I'm so sorry that you are having such trouble and you know that we are all praying for you. As others have said, all things happen for a reason and I do believe that there is another house just waiting for you. As for what Debbie said, I was thinking the same thing. The thought of an Orc in the backseat of a pickup would caiuse some kind of a traffic incident...

If you are off the road for the rest of the day you get a LARGE OGB.....I read Time pressure (?) years ago.....I'll have to look back into that author. Thanks for the tip!

ETS, I always look at a repair bill as a donation to a college fund!
