My version of the scene is Zerlina waiting outside the bathroom (preferably behind the door), tail tip flicking, waiting for Don Juan to finish his "business"....
Then,it's the chase-around-and-wrestle session!
On the other hand, in the evening Zerlina sometimes joins Don Juan on the sofa for cuddling and ear-washing.
