Slick, you'll know what is the best thing to do for precious Speckles. You are best placed to judge how she feels. Lots of love and hugs coming your way.

Of course it is not just kidney failure- it's also a kitty who would be 100 if she was a human. And we all know that even easier health problems can't be fought very well if they attack older people.
You will know best what to do and will find the right decision. And maybe Speckles will let you know whether she is ready to go. Our kitties know better than we do and can accept the end easier. It's us humans who always want to change what is unevitable.![]()
Love, purrings and headbumpies from the boys.
Slick I went through a similar situation earlier this year and as many others have said, you will know when its time. Doesn't make it an easier thoughPrayers and hugs on their way to you both.

Like others have said, you will know when it's time, and you will do what's best for Speckles. I'm so sad that she isn't improving better and like you say, it's all coming on so quickly.
Know that she has lived a good long life. It's because you care for her so much that she has even made it this far in life. I also know that all of this isn't much consolation for you and no matter how much you are preparing yourself for what is to come, you will be most devastated when the time comes, and I so wish I could be there for you to help you through it.

Slick, all you can do now, is keep her comfortable and make sure she's not in pain. It is heartbreaking for you to see her like that, but I know you do all you can. I also know how hard it is to let her go.![]()
Just be with her as much as you can and let her feel your love.
She will tell you when it's time.
Sending positive thoughts and lots of gentle kisses to Speckles, and big ((((((hugs))))) to you.

I am so very sorry to hear that things aren't improving.
I know how hard it is to watch them deteriorate and feel so helpless!![]()

Major hugs to both of you, Slick.I know, too well, that feeling of not knowing what to do, but knowing what you need to do......confusing, isn't it?
Blessings to both of you.

I'm not going to go on and on and on...there's only so much that I can say for an update, but please pray that she does well until Wednesday. I have an appointment with the vet at 10am this morning to discuss things.
On Tuesday, a photographer is coming over to take pictures of me in my Santa suit with Max and Speckles. I suspect this will be the last picture of my baby girl and I want her to look special for it. I have some Christmas material and will attempt to make a little bandana. Maybe it will perk her up a bit to know that she has to get dressed up for a photo shoot.
Again, many thanks for all your prayers. Her forehead has been showered with kisses....one from each of you.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!
