I've been away from Pet Talk for a few days and have completely missed this.
Slick, of course you and Speckles are top priority on my prayer list. My thoughts and well wishes are with you both.

Slick, I hope the flushing has helped and Speckles is with you now, cuddling and purring.Don't give up hope! I'm sure when you have to start the sub-q-fluids you'll handle it just fine!

I'm sending more positive thoughts and both Fister and I are keeping all fingers and paws crossed for Speckles and you.
You know where to find me if you need to talk.

Mornin' dear friend. It was just great talking to you last night and you have the greatest attitude!
I sure am glad that you will have some help and support in giving Speckles her fluids.
She is going to be very glad to be back home!
xxoo
I hope that today is a better day for you and Speckles. more hugs and prayers on the way.
These are not the droids you were looking for
Thanks everyone. I had a very restless sleep last night...besides, I was up late chatting on the phone.♥♥♥ to you Gini and thanks again for everything. Yes, I do have a very positive attitude today and with the help of local friends I know that I can get over the fear of giving the fluids. I was planning on hitting the shopping mall early but I'm slow getting started today. {{{hugs}}} to everyone. Randi, I do hope you are feeling better and I'll try to call you later.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Slick it's good to hear that you have friends helping out close by. Filou goes to see the vet weekly for sub-qs now and I am already afraid of the moment in which he will need them more often. We can't take him to the vet twice a week (it is heartbreaking to see how each week he tries to find a new hidey hole) and I cannot do it myself
All the best for you and Speckles girl.
OK, this is nothing but torture. I was told the blood test results would be in early this afternoon. I just called there and now they won't be in until tonight - which means anytime after 6pm as the vet is open until 8pm.![]()
**sigh** I just can't wait to get my baby girl back home again where she belongs.
