It's times like this that you find out who your true friends are. I had a call from my friend Cheryl offering to come up and help me out with the sub-q fluids then right after I hung up, my other friend Elizabeth who only lives 5 min from me, offered the same thing. She also offered to help out with the vet bill, which, of course I refused. I just know that this is going to be OK and I will have her for at least a few more months.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!
