I'm so glad you will have the vet come to your home when it's time. I know that's what I want for Peanut too. She is so afraid of the vet's office that there is no way I want her to be afraid during her last minutes on earth....but I'm sure this is not what you want to be hearing or talking about.
I'm going to stay positive that her numbers have come down with the flushing and that with the fluids that you will figure out how to give, she will be with you much longer than a few weeks to a month. When the time comes, I can give you some pointers with the fluids that helped us.
Please try to stay positive. I know it's hard, but Speckles needs you to be strong for her, and it sounds like that's just what you're doing by being so matter of fact about things.
She will be home tomorrow so you can both get some badly needed snuggles in. I know you will hug her close and cry into her soft fur, and that's ok, it's good therapy.
