there is a school program that lets you explore a cyber frog, pig, rat, fish, etc. There is no real guts or anything, its all fake

This info might make you change your mind of working on the real thing. The high school I went to has VERY strict policies since its Catholic. Our school only bought frogs used in tests & the pigs came from slaughter houses that happened to find them inside the adult pig. IF nobody bought them for educational purposes, then they would have all been tossed into the trash.

The way we saw it was that the animal was already dead & we were recycling the animal for educational purposes.

Our school also did 1-2 cat(s) a year. The cats were donated from the shelter (its a no kill shelter unless the animal is totally wild or aggressive beyond help).

In my opinion I would have never touched one of the animals if it was being recycled. If the animal was raised for us & then killed, NO one in our class would have touched them.

I mean NO offence in my post. But the sofeware is a good idea for your school

That is great that you are not disecting a frog. I am really happy about that. But it still makes me upset that your class is. I would try google for the cyber frog

We used that software! It is cool! In 7th grade we disected a frog, worm, and crayfish, THAT was cool! They had all been dead and floaring in fromeldahyde for like 3 years though
