How often do you feed?

My dog can eat out of his food container anytime he wants.
but he usually only eats twice. once when he comes in from his afteroon outing... and then again at night. and hes given a few treats in his crate for a morning snack.

I free feed my dogs, but overall they ususally eat 1-2x's/day.

I used to feed twice a day, but during the hot summer months they don't seem to eat very well during the day so this past summer I started only feeding only once a day and have stuck to that since. But if they sniff their food bowls then I'll put some dry down for them to eat. There big meal each day is dry and canned they get after we eat our dinner.

I feed Samantha twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. She also gets alot of treats. I plan on cutting her back to once a day after she turns a year old.

Usually kibble (a few times a week it is raw) in the AM, about 6:15 am on weekdays and around 7-8 in weekends.

Mostly raw at night (1-2 times a week it may be kibble) at about 6-7:30 pm.

Once a day at supper time, but they get treats several times a day. Then I give them a good snack at bedtime. Sometimes in the summer, I'll put out a little in the morning because once it gets hot, they don't want to eat at all.

Once a day in the evening. This time of year it's about 6pm and a little more food than in the summer. In the summer I don't feed til about 9.

The working dogs get a chunk of fish or meat after a run as well.

Usually twice, once in the morning before work and once at night after I get home. Bear would never forgive me if I only fed once a day. Although he'd be happy with free feed, he could eat his + the other dogs...

Once a day, at night. I use to feed in the morning as well, but once they passed puppyhood, none of them seemed as interested in the breakfast meal. I do give them treats before I leave in the morning and some lil' tidbit from my plate at lunch. So they are getting a lil' something throughout the day, but their real meal is at night.

Well, I give Roscoe food in the morning, but he usually doesn't eat it until around dinnertime. He usually likes to eat when I am cooking dinner. If he seems to be hungry later in the evening I'll give him a little more. He has put on a good bit of weight since we got him (I think he was about 75 lbs. or so when we got him and he just weighed in at 93 but he looks much better - I can't count his ribs anymore ).
