I can fully appreciate how much you love your little rat terrier. They are so affectionate and easy to care for.

Last July I adopted a toy rat terrier (Winston) from Petfinders.com as a companion to my other recently adopted shelter dog (Suzi) who is some kind of daschund (sp?) pekinese mix.

Winston is the most affectionate pet we've ever owned. Just a complete cuddle-bug. And sweet, sweet, sweet. Suzi just loves him and they play all day long. Winston is a spunky little guy with a happy attitude. Although I think cloning pets is ridiculous, I can almost understand it now that we have Winston.

My husband jokes that I saved our marriage by adopting Winston...we're now one big happy family of two humans and three animals. We sit around cuddling our Winston and watching Suzi chew on her treats in the evening. We don't even watch TV anymore...we just watch our dogs and our cat. Our very own Animal Planet.
