I worked late yesterday and was wondering all day how you and Flutter made out. What a happy day it must have been for both of you to be together again!!!

And, what better homecoming than big brother Harry being so nice!?

I am so glad she is doing well; isn't it amazing how quickly animals rebound from something traumatic like that? How many humans do you know who performed jumps and leaps 2 days after having a hysterectomy or an amputation?

Enjoy your special time together. I know she'll just get better every day!

Hugs to you and scritches to Flutter!

I'm glad Flutter came through the surgery well. Having had a cat go through a similar surgery, I had the exact same fears! But, Smokey did the same things as Flutter did: run up the stairs, beg to be fed, etc. I figured that the pain from the amputation must have been less than that in her poor knee from the tumor.

The only thing you'll need to help her is if she has an itch on that side. I could see Smokey's hip moving when she'd try to scratch herself, so that was time for me to give her a good scritch!

Glad to hear all is well with little Flutter and now you can have some peace of mind.
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers
