And yes, I do write a lot of checks. I don't have a debit card nor do I pay bills online. I find it easier to keep track of my money that way.

Really? I hate writing checks because they don't go through immediately and I usually have forgotten I'd written them. Especially when I'm in a store buying dog food, or such, and you're in a hurry to get out. By the time I get home I've forgotten to even write it down, LOL.

With my debit card and online banking I can check my balance before I leave the house, then check it again when I get back. I LOVE it!
