How long have you been here?

Hi, allecto, welcome to Pet Talk! I'm david p and I live in Pittsburgh, Pa. I'm owned by three kitties who allow me to live with them, Nikki (the queen!) a 5y.o. tuxedo kitty, Daisy a nutty tortoiseshell kitty (2 y.o.), and I'm fostering Marigold another nutty tortie (4 y.o.). Pics of Nikki & Daisy are in my signature. I guess you win the prize for being the newest! What kind of pets do you have? I hope you post often, but be aware this site is very addictive!!

I've been here for about 6-7 years but I had a different name... twice well actually counting my name now it'd be 3 names. lol The first 2 names were something like 3 dog night (or abbreviated). Each time I moved I forgot my name &/or password so I had to change it. Well the last time I moved (about 3.5 years ago) I did remember my name but because I didn't have the same email addy or I couldn't remember my password (one or the other I can't remember) I had to make up a new name. So I've been lv4dogs since.

edited to change it to 3.5 years because I realized I could look at my profile & see how long I have been here under this name. lol

Not since the very, very beginning but shortly thereafter, this month will be 5 years

and it gets better each year

I've been here almost 4 years.

It has grown quite considerably since - I think there were just over 3000 members then.

It would be 4 years unless if you had another username for a year before this one.

I lurked for a little while before joining . I was new to computers and wanted to make sure it was a safe site. I joined 1/2001
so Kay and I are close I think she joined a few days before me. She was the reason I had to join and answer her on a question.

She did have a different user name before this one.

Edit: in this thread Kay tells that she had computer trouble and lost her password (to her old username) so made a new username on the computer in her family room.
