I tried that when I had my old dog. It didn't go quite as planned. He hopped off , chased me & then started dragging me around in the snow thinking the sled was harming me

So ya, I didn't try that again.. But I hooked him up to an old wodden sled & got him to pull me around.. I've even hooked him up to a snowboard & he took me rollerblading.. I cannot skate or blade anylonger as my legs cannot handle it, so he was my go, turn & stop.. He was quite the clever boy
