    Of course the US is interested in the trial. It would be foolish not to be. The outcome of the trial could have significant effects on the future of Iraq. A Nuremburg type war crimes trial was considered, but being as his main crimes were done inside Iraq, it was decided that the Iraqis should have first crack at him.

    I don't think he deserved a trial.
    The soldier who found him should have thrown a grenade in that hole... whoops... the grenade slipped.

    I SO agree! they should of just shot him. I know it sounds evil but he was and is an evil man

    I'm sure the soldiers who found him would have been happy to end it without a trial. However, the Battalion commander who issued the orders that killed Uday and Qsay Hussein al Tiktriti wound up getting canned for failure to follow orders.
