Well is it considered a registered breed or a designer breed?? Because designer breeds are just mixes of popular breeds to feed the demand of dog-hungry consumers

Oh dog breed info will list all "breeds" regardless of whether they're regstered or not. For "official" breeds check sites like the AKC or UKC!![]()
Oh ok! Thanks
Is there a CKC?

If you are in America the CKC usually stands for the Continental Kennel Club, which is the registering body most usually used by BYB and puppy mills that for one reason or another can't get AKC papers on their dogs.
In Canada, there is the Canadia Kennel Club, which is like our AKC here.
The BullBoxer is just another designer breed bred by people out for a buck. It is not a recognized breed by the AKC. (Not that AKC means all that much, lots of BYB still have AKC dogs that don't even look like breed standard and continue to breed them anyway).
Thanks Jess for the great sig of my kids!

Oh, well I live in the US and I noticed that CKC dogs are cheaper than AKC by quite a bit.

Yes they are, but steer clear of them if you are looking for a puppy. If someone can't qualify with their dogs to have AKC registration, there is something quite fishy or bad about their breeding operation. AKC doesn't even check to insure that the dogs meet breed standard so I wouldn't intentionally buy a CKC registered puppy. It's just surely giving either a BYB or puppy mill money and making sure those poor parents keep on being breeding machines.
Thanks Jess for the great sig of my kids!
