Yeah Charlie is getting more red on his cheeks and hind legs as he gets older. Then again Aussies tend to get darker as they age to begin with. But I had a kitten once who was born white, turned light grey with dark grey face/ears/legs (like a siamese) and then turned pitch black.![]()
wow! huge change for that kitten. Charlie is your red merle isn't he?
*Sammy*Springen*Molli*
No, Charlie is the blue merle. Jamie is the red merle.
lol thanks Sarah![]()
ohh lol. sorry, so charlie has red spots too? that cool. I realllly love both charlie and jamie. they are so pretty!!

It's neat to see how people's dogs change. Adele's colors didn't change at all, but Marta is less black then when she was a puppy, especially her face:

Oscar, our tri-color basset, was mostly black as a puppy. Now a lot of the places that used to be black are mostly brown. Gus, our RB tri-color, was the same way. (I know, I really need to make some dog pictures...)
Wow!! Everyone has changed so much!!

Nanook used to be more white when he was younger. He has turned more yellowish-light tanish as he aged.
Kaige has already become a lot darker than he was, but as Jessika mentioned it is common for Aussies to get darker as they age.
Soar high & free my sweet fur angels. I love you Nanook & Raustyk... forever & ever.
