most domesticated ducks can't fly. the only domesticated ducks that can are muscovys. (mallards aren't domesticate) your ducks are lucky to have ponds.

well the russian blue's name is cloud, but we sold him. out crested duck (not pictured) is named peety. (though she turned out to be a girl.) we named her when she was a duckling because she was blind. i had to bring her from the food to the water and stuff. she would have to walk around until she bumped into the food when she wanted it on her own. she was SUCH a sweetie. she didnt turn out tame (none of them did) so they can't be caught. we put stuff in her eyes and was able to see again. but now she is blind in one eye. what a hard life for her. the female cuyuga's name is starlight.

the other ducks we didn't name. i only named my favorites. lol

Lol, my ducks dont have names either. That is so sad about the blind duck! All my ducks are fairly tame, but not as tame as Gizmo was, he was a black swedish, and he was the NICEST duck ever. He was like a dog, and he would chase the dogs around the yard (are ducks arent in a pen our anything, they can go whereever they please, even with our dogs ) and you could pet him and everything, and he would fallow you around everywhere. This July, he disappeared though, and I miss him dearly. .

saddd. poor thing. sounds like a happy duck.

our ducks, chickens, turkey, etc go wherever they want too. when the sun starts to set they all come in the barn. even the silver pheasant. but it is too cold to let them out these days.
