the dog show world is something that you spend money on. rarely ever do you win money. most show dogs, like mine, live a wonderful life. they are well groomed, live inside with their owners/handlers, get the best food, the best vet care, they are generally spoiled rotten....ask my Gracie and Houston. they know all about being spoiled.Originally Posted by pound_puppies

Who the heck makes money off showing dogs?! Wow. If you could point me to somebody that does, PLEASE PM me!Originally Posted by pound_puppies
I'd love to hear how.
Please don't bash something you obviously don't know much about. Conformation shows are for evaluating breeding stock. That's all it is. Nothing more. Nothing less. As for it being cruel? The previous posters are absolutely correct. In order for your dog to win, s/he should be absolutely prancing on Cloud 9 every time s/he walks into the ring.
I didn't catch the show, but did anybody catch the name of the Peke?
no, i think they didnt show him on tvOriginally Posted by Giselle
