Hitting a deer - that must have been very frightening! I worry about it all the time because I live in the country. Especially in the fall during hunting season, I see them racing across fields. Fortunately I've never hit one, I know I'd feel bad about it. Heck, I feel bad when I run over some poor little creature's remains that have been there for days! Not sure what the answer is, but far too many animals get killed by cars. (including my beloved Rosie)
