Our backyard is a nice size, it's one of the larger yards in our neighborhood (mind you, we live in Southern Cali where yard sizes are decreasing by the second).
This is the patio area :
Here's the "grassy part" of the yard.. our grass used to be a nice dark green color, and then along came the dogs..

Please excuse all the leaves and clutter, it's been extremly windy over here the past couple of weeks and we're beginning to clean up.
We also have yet another side yard towards the back of the "grassy part" of the yard with a shed lol. It's kind of oddly shaped.
