Joaquin Phoenix is a tremendous actor, and, I was so excited to see that he's portraying Cash. I've never really loved Reece Witherspoon, but, she seems perfect for this part. Can't wait to go see it. I might go tonight.

I watched one of my favorite movies tonight...Romper Stomper. It's a rough, disturbing film, but, it's one of my favorites of Russell Crowe's. It's really an amazing film.

I saw Walk the Line tonight and someone told me Joaquin sang all the parts, then we got home and listened to our Folsom live record, and it was amazing how good he was, if he did sing it all, he was just like Johnny Cash!
    That movie was excelent!

Yep, he and Reese Witherspoon both sang their own parts. We saw Walk The Line last weekend, Justin and I both loved it! Before Johnny Cash died he personally picked Joaquin Phoenix to play him in the movie.

I rented The Polar Express. I loooove that movie. It was a lot better in the theatre but either way it's absolutely amazing.

Yeah, it seems like the kind that would lose something on a smaller screen. I loved it in the theater, though! My parents have a huge screen, but, it still won't be as cool.

That is a great movie! I saw it by myself in the theater, and, was just on the edge of my seat a lot of the time. It was so intense, and, I felt so scared for them! A really good, family survival movie. Awesome is a good description!

Kari, you are a movie addict! I think my husband might like being married to you! LOL!!!! He was a Netflix member before we dated, but that ended shortly afterward because he had no time to watch them!

I really want to see Polar Express. I hope we can rent it sometime soon.

We went to see the 4th Harry Potter movie this past weekend. We all really liked it, although I got a bit confused at the end and though it needed to keep going! LOL!!! I need to read the book so I will completely understand it. Before that, the last movie I saw was "March of the Penguins", which I understand is out on DVD now. If you haven't seen it, see it. It is a beautiful story and so well narrated by Morgan Freeman.

Yeah, I definitely love movies. And, when I have a lot of free time, that's what I do for indoor fun. Polar Express is really good, my mom bought that one, too...she got five or six movies while they were in Illinois for vacation.

March of the Penguins is so beautiful...you should check out Winged Migration if you liked it. It's really beautifully filmed and covers migratory bird flocks, it's fantastic.

I wanted to see Rent...hmm I definately gotta go see it. I love a good cry.

Has anyone seen The 10th Kingdom? It's about 8 hours long, but really one of my all time favorite movies. I believe it was a series on NBC a couple of years ago. It has Scott Cohen (from ER), Diane Weisst, and Ed O Neill. Such a great movie, and Scott Cohen is wonderful.
