my favorite working dog is the breed I own, I am biased and will forever have one...great pyrenees. I have had alot of dogs in my time. A shnauzer, a doberman, a rottie, a plothound, hmmm and some mutts and oh yeah have this pitbull right now, which is my second and someone please p.m. for her, she is gorgeous, heart worm neg, spade 2 wks ago, crate trained, in houston.
Anyway grt pyr's they are the bomb! Gentle, extremely intelligent, will not attake unless very provoked, follows owners cues at all times, requires no training at all, this is their nature and actually they are not very trainable, very independent thinkers and initiatory which kinda sucks at times, but they have such good judgement that you never have to worry about what they may or may not do. I have a 140 male, multi colored which is very rare, rescued him, 3rd in 5 yrs. I rescued, turned the others over to the rescue league, but fell in love with him. I'll insert a pic, he shaved down a bit and doesn't look as big as he is because my husband is 6'3 almost 4 and 230 lbs. hard to imagine from this pic but here you go...and of course his name is fred, named after my favorite and first dog I had as a child and had until I was 22
