hrm... if I were you, I'd opt to bring him inside when it gets too cold. You can use a large wire dog crate as his house and allow him to exercise in an x-pen with a litter box in it. I would not want any of my pets to be outside in freezing weather, especially very sensitive Bunnies. That's IMHO

You can also fill a cardboard box with hay and just cut an small opening in the side for him to get in and out of. In my rabbit pen I have about 5 boxes, and my buns love zipping in and out of them.

Lots of great ideas - thanks guys.

Spent yesterday insulating the outside of his hutch, have a bottle snug on order so his water doesn't freeze and will be looking out a "woobie" of his very own

    so his water doesn't freeze
Please remember the bottle snugs just help to stop the water from freezing fast but the water will still freeze, just make sure you check it twice a day.

I have two sets of water bottles what I do is in the morning before work I give them a fresh one and at night (by then it is frozen) I switch it with one I have hadd in the house, then I bring the one in the house and let it thaw over night, fill it in the morning and switch it with the one outside.......

and make sure you only fill the water about half way because when water freezes it expands and if you have the bottle full it will cause your bottle to burst.
