You have to have permission from a veterinarian, and they will usually provide the proof. Otherwise, what these people are selling is illegal, and should you give them without permission and then take them to the vet and they see that they're not UTD, they will give them again (most likely).
so could you buy the shot, and give it to the vet to give to the dog? will they give you the proof if you did it that way?

Hmm ... I don't know. Maybe, but then I'm sure the vet will charge you a bunch for their time. LOL
The vials should have a label that can be placed on the health records you maintain. Most breeders give their own shots this way (Vets hate it because they don't get paid 4-5x what the cost is). Rescues sometime do this also. It's MUCH cheaper.
I work at one of the most expensive vets in town, but just to give you guys perspective: Vaccines cost about 50 cents each, and we charge about $100 for them. It's outrageous!!Originally Posted by ESS-lover
