OMG! I know why I live in California when I hear the temps from around the country. It's 80 degrees Fahrenheit and sunny - totally beach weather here in the San Francisco Bay Area. I'm running around in a tank top and flip flops. It's kinda hard to get into any kind of pre-Xmas spirit when it feels like summer outside. I need a really cold iced tea.

Well, we have about 50 deg F and it's just purrfect for me and yes, I'm still wearing shorts.

Julie, I'm so glad that you checked in. Sounds like your house should be in a magazine. How about posting some pictures when it's all decorated.

Lunch time here now and I'm enjoying some comfort food....a chicken pie. Yummy! Think I'll grab a DOTD and settle on down by the fire.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

70 degrees, 50 degrees and wearing shorts.. 73.. well HUMPH! Oh wait, that's what a camel has. Umm, pshaaw y'all! The boys and their friends are gathering up kindlin' and brought some of my split logs up to the back door and I'm starting a fire! First one of the year and I'm loving it.
