Absolutely. Thankfully there's not a RB for cars, otherwise there would be one very upset pontiac grand am waiting for me.

Sneaker's woods are the newest version of Buster's rustyard....LOL. Everything back there from model A's to a Gradall excavator.

Good morning everyone! I've brought in some more firewood....applewood for you Laurie....and the coffee is on. For the first time this year, I can actually say that it feels like winter up here. It's foggy and there is a chill in the air that screams out....PUT UP THE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS! That's exactly what I'm going to do this weekend. Then I'm going to curl up by the fire with the furballs and relax. Maybe rent a movie.

LH that Ginger Brandy smells heavenly...I'll have some later on. It's a bit too early for me yet.

Richard, I sure hope you are feeling better today. Catland...where is Catland? She hasn't checked in yet.

Feels like winter does it?? Two days ago it was 70 degrees in the afternoon and this morning when I left the house at OH-DAWN-HUNDRED it was 28 FRIGGIN DEGREES!! And we are talking Fahrenheit degrees Where is Catland anyway? I've missed a bit lately but wasn't she here a few days ago?? I'll have a snifter of some of that Ginger Brandy.. it's almost lunch time and I've been working like a mad woman all morning long. Are we going to have Thanksgiving here at Thursdays? We can each bring our specialties or whatever we have leftover on Friday if Thursday is busy.. wadda ya thunk?

    Good morning everyone.

I have tried to call Richard on his work number, but it tells me his mail box is full.

I sure hope he is feeling better - we get a little nuts when he isn't around to keep things under control.

Just look at the mess - guess it just was too cold to get in there and clean up. Everyone is huddled around the fire.

Wow! Slick brought in a CASE of Baileys? Isn't she the best? That sounds so good with coffee this morning.

    Have a great Friday everyone!

I've been BUSY!! But that's still no excuse to not stop off at the bar. We've started decorating for Christmas already. (we're the nutty types that go overboard just so we can watch the people sloooowww dooowwwnnn as they drive by our house. I'll take whatever anyone is serving up, then I have to get back to work.

Btw - I have a lovely flea infestation to deal with when I get home tonight. Who ever heard of fleas in November?

    Misery loves company....

Not feelin' too well on this end either. Called the Doc and she prescribed me some antibiotic for my sinus infection. This, plus a 20 page term paper (due on Sunday) does not make for a fun weekend. (yuck!)

    I hear ya!
Last Saturday, we discovered K'Cee and Sid have them; the question is, how in the world do INDOOR cats get fleas?!

I'd offer to trade "ailments" ...
but I doubt I'll find any takers!

As for the Buggy Problem ...

First Suspect might be da In/Out-side DAWGGIE!!

Second possibility is wunna da 2-Leggers!
I brough home a flea or two or three to my apartment in the Southern Tier of
New York many years ago ...
spread em all over the Fire Dept and work before I realized WHAT the problem was!
Both ankles and legs were covered in bites in a few days - and I hadn't been
near a dog or a cat in ages!

    Drink?
    Better make mine "warm tea".

Hey, Phred is here. Now don't talk his leg off - he probably would enjoy just sitting by the fire quietly and sipping his tea.

Fleas - yeah well, it got cold here and they all disappeared - but just one warm day - and guess who is scratching himself silly. Time for one of those little treatments that he hates. He won't talk to me all day after I use Advantage on him.

LH - thanks for the rum and pepsi and lime. It really did hit the spot!

Tough tooties? Why Laurie - I never!!

Zip - come on now - you can't be sick with that paper to finish.

We checked Sara but couldn't find a single flea on her; doesn't mean they're not there though! Poor Sid and Kiss have the itchies. Regardless, ever'bunny (well, sans Piper) got a bath and frontline.

Ok, I have no more reasons to procrastinate; term paper here I come...

Oh wait! I could go make Phred his tea, first!

OMG! I know why I live in California when I hear the temps from around the country. It's 80 degrees Fahrenheit and sunny - totally beach weather here in the San Francisco Bay Area. I'm running around in a tank top and flip flops. It's kinda hard to get into any kind of pre-Xmas spirit when it feels like summer outside. I need a really cold iced tea.

Well, we have about 50 deg F and it's just purrfect for me and yes, I'm still wearing shorts.

Julie, I'm so glad that you checked in. Sounds like your house should be in a magazine. How about posting some pictures when it's all decorated.

Lunch time here now and I'm enjoying some comfort food....a chicken pie. Yummy! Think I'll grab a DOTD and settle on down by the fire.
