Has anyone ever had a name chosen before they had the pet?

I always have names planned out, but then when I get the pet I realize the name doesn't match. So now I wait until I get to know the pet better before naming him. However with Tuna I knew I wanted a kitty named Tuna, so when Alexa adopted him I thought he fit the name so I asked if we could name him Tuna.

Several times!! And also changed it a few times too.. lol.. Pets tend to name themselves- especially in this house.
