Re playing with string: I know you love to do that but it is, in fact, a very dangerous toy for a pussycat or dog. If you swallowed the string it could entangle itself in your intestines -- which would be a life-threatening problem requiring emergency surgery to save your precious life. Your human might want to reconsider letting you play with string, cord, ribbons.

I must agree, don't let your precious cat play with thread, it could literally be deadly to him. I pull a string around my house for my cat, but make sure I don't let go of it, so that he can't swallow it.
