I don't think it's the same with dogs & humans. Jose
doesn't think that staring at you is a contest or trying to
show dominence over you. She loves you, you are her
special person. She is just waiting for clues from you as
to what's up, if anything. She's interested in watching
you b/c she doesn't want to miss out on anything that
happens with you. At least, that's what I think.
