    Really all you need is a graphic editing program that allows you to resize images. You can even do it with MSPaint if you want. Some good and FREE image editing programs are

    - Photo Filtre http://www.photofiltre.com/

    I Have just learned how to do this myself and maybe I can help you when I am not so frizzeled on the brain... (Had company all day).. You DO have to make many different pictures.. I will have to make some to show you.. I use paint Shop pro 8 animation shop and it automatically makes them for you when you put all your little pictures in there....

    Here is one I made last night.
