He definetly looks like he has Lab in him. I'd say Lab/Border Collie.
Lol, yeah, our shelter is absolutely HORRIBLE at naming mixes...I'm actually really surprised they didn't call this one a pit mix. Everything to them is a pit/lab or a pit/shepherd and that usually scares off potential adoptersOriginally Posted by sammy101
I would agree he looks like he has some whippet in him, I think they were saying shepherd because of his coloration...thanks guys

Our shelter is the same. Everything is mixed with Pit or Chow, which is really funny to me because neither breed is really common around here. Labs are especially common here and I would think most of our shelter dogs are mixed with them because, unfortunately, most Labs nowadays come from bad places that don't require neutering![]()
Yeah, pits aren't that common here either, labs and beagles dominate the shelter thoughOriginally Posted by .sarah
Yesterday at the adoption event we had 4 big black lab mixes adopted, I was soooo excited, plus a blue-ticked coonhound found a home and a german wirehaired pointer. It was a VERY good day

Its got a shiba face and a shiba tail, and then probably some lab mixed in.
