Yes, most people seem fearful of my girls. A stranger coming to the house is almost always afraid. When the girls and I are out walking we get lots of comments about how beautiful they are but everyone keeps a distance. Yesterday when we were walking there was a group of young kids out playing and one of the little girls spotted us from a distance and hollered at us asking if she could pet our dogs. After telling her yes and getting closer she took one look at Tori and said that Tori was scary looking...lol. Those eyes do it every time. It didn't stop her though she asked if Tori liked kids and when I told her yes, the little girl seemed fine then. She was such a tiny little girl and I was impressed that she wasn't afraid of the big dogs and that she knew to ask if she could pet them.

Occasionally I wish people weren't afraid of them but most times it doesn't bother me and I actually feel safer because of it. I'm pretty certain that no one is going to bother me when my girls are with me.

It doesn't bother me when people say they're afraid of Finn. I'm afraid of public speaking. And, of flying, stinging, buzzing insects. And, of heights. Everyone has their fears, and, fears are generally not founded on intelligent thought. However, if someone says they're afraid, but, don't want to be, I take advantage of it and try to help them pet Finn. But, little kids are oftentimes afraid of him just because of his size...and, some kids and adults have had bad experiences with dogs, and, I am not about to force anyone to like Finn. I don't have a breed or color that is poorly and largely over exaggerated in the media, though, for which I'm fortunate. For those people afraid of dogs or certain breeds because of the garbage they've been fed via the media, I have no sympathy for. And, I find people who refuse to think beyond what they've simply been told absolutely offensive.

I voted sometimes because a lot of people tend to be afraid of Lacey. Most are not afraid of Mandy.

The only time that anyone ever seemed afraid of Bella was at Petsmart when she was wearing her Halti. I heard the mom of a little girl there whisper to her that she shouldn't get near her because she was wearing a muzzle.

Some little kids are afraid of Snowy because she jumps up on them to lick their face.

It depends, most people are afraid of Shadow because shes a Rottie and when shes wearing her halti they freak out thinking its a muzzle...there have been a few people approach me when I'm walking the Jack russells and people generally don't get very close but look at them from a distance And most people aren't afraid of Jack, usually only little kids because he loves to give huge sloppy kisses and kids are the perfect height for him.
