Sarah, Peej is blind in his left eye. His retina has detached and for now he's not bothered by it. Eventually though, his eye will need to be removed. He's good friends with the doggie eye doctor.

Carmen, yesterday was hubby's birthday. peej helped open the gifts.

At least he still has the other eye That happened with my grandmother's Shih-Tzu and now she has become aggressive to things that creep up on her on that side of her face

I had a Dachshund that went blind (Buttons -- his Dogster page is linked in my signature). He still did really well for having his sight for 11 years and then suddenly, like within 2 weeks, going completely blind. He learned exactly how many stairs we had from our deck down to our yard! He was one smart cookie, stubborn as anything though.

Ohhh, Its Peej and Bailey! Woo Hoo! So pretty furbabies. Its so good to see them. Bailey always tugs at my heart because she makes me think of my RB girl. My Chloe was white with some tan markings too.
